Harmony, FL is only about a 40 minute drive from my house, so I go down there whenever I want to take a good picture of the night sky. The town was recognized by the Dark Sky Society for their efforts in reducing light pollution. That makes it an excellent place for astrophotography. It’s still not perfect since Orlando is pretty close by, but I can see a bit of the milky way in my shot and that’s good enough for me.
