My stepdaughter is a huge fan of Stranger Things, so when I first started dating her mom I learned a little about Arduino and made her a box that was setup like the Christmas lights wall in season one. I then made an Android app so that she could connect to the box via bluetooth and make the lights spell out different messages, which she then used to scare the crap out of her friends.
