So I can’t actually say for sure that this is volcanic basalt, but the formations looked very similar and the sides of the formation had that unique stacked look as well. They weren’t as obvious as say, the Giant’s Causeway, but the area wasn’t as open either. This was near a very small waterfall off a hiking trail on the side of the Road to Hana.
