The approach into the airport at Myrtle Beach takes your plane wide out over the water. With the runway being so close to the beach, you get this kind of sinking feeling as you come in for a landing. That feeling? That you’re going to hit the water before the land materializes under the wheels. Luckily you don’t get a similar feeling on takeoff since I only had a quick layover before I was back in the air again.
